Alright, I'm just going to come out and say it -- I loved the Max Payne series and find it one of the most underappreciated games of all time. Why shouldn't I? The action was frantic and fun and it had a film-noir like visual style that was different from what we saw at the time. Plus, it made bullett-time cool..well...for a few minutes anyways...
Those who weren't lucky enough to catch the titles in the last console generation can now download both the original Max Payne and Max Payne 2: the Fall of Max Payne on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1,200 MS points -- or about $15. Or of course you could just pick up the original disc used on Amazon for around $2 each.
