What’s that saying about things going around and coming around?

 European gamers who have yet to jump on the good ship Sony weren’t all too thrilled last month when Sony announced that they had acquired the sole publishing rights for the upcoming Ghostbusters game’s PAL release. Long story short – while North American gamers will get the game next week regardless of their system, those in Europe with anything but a PS3 will have to wait until later this year.

Not so fast – Destructoid confirmed with Atari this morning that the North American Xbox 360 version of the game will indeed ship region free, allowing anyone in the world (who wants to import it) the chance to play it.

The news has got to upset Sony, who paid a boat-load of cash to make sure that their system was the only one to have the title in the region.
