By now a number of you have recieved your invitations to check out the next Xbox Live Update, but you'll have to wait to check out some of the most hotly anticipated features.
Speaking to EuroGamer, Microsoft's James Halton revealed that the Twitter and Facebook applications unveiled at E3 will not be included in the August 11 dashboard update and will instead be released as seperate downloads later in the fall.
While Holton wasn't specific on a date, he did add that the downloads will be available"before christmas" and that " a lot of work has been done for the applications that are coming."
As revealed earlier this summer at E3, the upcoming Twitter and Facebook applications for the Xbox 360 dashboard will allow users to update and manage their Twitter, Facebook and Xbox accounts at the same time along with adding new features including posting screenshots from games directly to Facebook.
