So remember a few days ago when we were telling you that new downloadable content was coming for Mass Effect? Yeah, it's available right now. And it's pretty cheap too; only about $5.
The new content, dubbed Pinnacle Station was released on the server with no official announcement from Bioware and. The official Xbox Live description for Pinnacle Station reads:
"Test the limits of your combat prowess aboard a remote, top-secret Alliance space station. Do you have what it takes to hold the top spot amongst the best of the best? This module includes a new land-able space station, 13 exciting combat scenarios and approximatley 2-3 hours of gameplay. Required: YOu must achieve Spectre status before embarking on this mission."
Remember that the upcoming Mass Effect 2, due out next year features the ability to import your character from the original -- and a survial like challenge mode seems like a good way to level- up quick.
Pinnacle Station isn't the only new Mass Effect content to hit Xbox Live today. You can now dress your avatar in a number of fashionable Mass Effect accessories!
