IGN is reporting that the highly anticipated and often delayed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released in the United States on February 23 2010. Those in European countries will have to wait a few days as the game will ship a few days later.

Has anyone seen my lucky rabbits foot? Where's my horseshoe? Not to sound like a pessamist or anything -- but we've been burned on this one before. If the game does release in February, it'll be mere weeks after Bioshock 2 hits shelves on February 9.
