Music game fan site 5frets.com has scored the first pics of Guitar Hero: Van Halen, which should be on it's way to those who took part in the Guitar Hero 5 offer. Guess what? It looks like a Guitar Hero game - -shocker I know!
Reportedly, the game comes in simple cardboard promo packaging, so don't get any ideas about trading it in. The user who submitted the pics also confirms that you can't export songs from Guitar Hero 5 into the game, or vice versa.
The user also submitted the above picture, which shows a good portion of the game's tracklist. There's some good ones on there -- Dance the Night Away..Everybody Wants Some. Then you'll notice that like the Aerosmith and Metallica games, GH: VH features a number of songs from bands that...wait..Blink 182? Weezer? ALTER BRIDGE? !What do they have to do with Van Halen?
Didn't pick up Guitar Hero 5 in time? Don't fret, you can channel you inner David Lee Roth when the game hits shelves this December.
